By creating an account you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Service: Saaph.in is a tool that helps individual Indian consumers (a) discover where their personal data is held across publicly accessible Indian platforms, and (b) prepare and send their own opt-out or erasure requests under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). Where you use an automated sending feature, Saaph.in transmits your request to the relevant company for you, with you in copy and the company asked to reply to you directly.

2. Saaph is a facilitator, not your representative: Saaph.in acts only as a communication facilitator and tool. It does not act as your legal, authorised, or other representative or agent, and does not exercise your rights for you. Every request is your own request, made in exercise of your own rights as the Data Principal under the DPDP Act 2023; you remain solely responsible for the requests you choose to send.

3. Data we collect: We collect your name, email, phone number, and city solely to perform the scan and generate removal requests. We do not sell your data to third parties. Your data is stored securely and deleted upon account closure.

4. Scan results: Scan results are illustrative and based on known Indian platform patterns. Actual data presence on third-party platforms may vary. Saaph.in does not guarantee removal from all platforms.

5. Removal timelines: Under the DPDP Act 2023, data fiduciaries must respond within 30 days (extendable to 90 days). Saaph.in is not liable for delays or non-compliance by third-party platforms.

6. Subscription: Free scan is available to all users. Pro and Family plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

7. Prohibited use: You may not use Saaph.in to submit removal requests on behalf of another person without their explicit written consent. Misuse may result in account suspension.

8. Liability: Saaph.in is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the prior 3 months.

9. Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

10. Changes: We may update these terms with 7 days' notice via email. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
