⚠️ The reality of data leaks in India

Every breach and every broker listing turns you into a target — for spam calls, SIM-swap fraud, phishing and identity theft. Most Indians are exposed on 5+ platforms and in multiple breaches without ever knowing it.

An animation: the Saaph mark assembles as a fingerprint, then the records held against it are labelled — your email address, your phone number, and broker listings on TrueCaller, JustDial and Naukri. A scan line sweeps down and each record is replaced by a redaction block until the listings are gone and only the mark remains.

Incogni and DeleteMe don't cover India.

They're good products — for US and EU data brokers, using GDPR and CCPA. Neither one touches the platforms that actually expose Indians, and neither uses Indian law.

Apna Data, Apna Haq

The DPDP Act 2023 puts data rights in writing for every Indian — the law's penalties commence May 2027, but the rights are yours on paper today. These are the three you'll use most, and the product we built for each.

Right to Erasure Saaph — साफ़ Live

Section 12 lets you demand a company erase the personal data it holds on you. Saaph finds where you're exposed, then prepares and sends that demand.

  • Breach detection — your email and verified phone against records from known data breaches: what leaked, where, and when.
  • Exposure timeline — every breach you appear in, oldest to newest, on one view.
  • Privacy Score — how many places hold your data and how sensitive the exposure is.
  • 250+ company directory — the removal route for 250+ companies operating in India, 220+ with a published grievance contact.
  • Erasure requests, sent — formal DPDP requests with a live 90-day follow-up clock. You're CC'd; they reply to you.
  • Re-scan every 15 days — data gets re-sold; see exactly what changed since last time.
  • Private password check — against 900M+ leaked passwords, hashed in your browser; it never leaves your device.

Right to Correction Swachh — स्वच्छ Early access

The same Section 12 covers data that is wrong — a name spelled badly, a number linked to someone else, a listing that mixes you up with a stranger. Swachh prepares evidence-backed correction requests.

  • Field-by-field corrections — say exactly what is wrong and what it should be.
  • Evidence attached — each correction states what proves the right value, so it is hard to ignore.

Right to Withdraw Consent Suraksha — सुरक्षा Preview

Section 6(4) says withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it was. Suraksha is our consent manager in preview — see what each company may do with you, and tell us which apps you want covered first.

  • Pick your apps — the list stays on your phone; the page makes no network request at all.
  • Take it back — withdrawal requests built from the same directory the erasure flow uses.

Frequently Asked

Yes — with one honest caveat about timing. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 is a central government law, and Section 12 gives every data principal (that's you) the right to erasure. The Act and its 2025 Rules were notified in November 2025 and commence in stages, with the erasure right and the Data Protection Board's penalty powers taking effect in May 2027. So a request sent today asks a company to act voluntarily — but it is a formal, dated, documented request, and many companies already answer it through the Grievance Officer they are separately required to publish.
The quick breach check on this page sends only the email you type to our scanner, and we don't store it. The full scan runs on your account: we keep only your footprint (the identifiers you ask us to check) and your results — encrypted, on servers in India. We never sell your data, and you can delete everything from your account settings at any time.
Data brokers continuously buy and sell data from each other. Even after a platform removes your record, it may reappear within 90–180 days as their data gets refreshed from other sources. That's why re-checking matters — Saaph lets you re-run your scan every 15 days and see what changed.
The scan is real, not simulated. We check your email and phone against records from known data breaches, and we test which online services hold an account registered to your email — nothing is shown as "found" unless the check actually found it. The removal side is real too: each request goes to the company's own published grievance contact from our directory of 250+ companies.
If a company stays silent, Saaph helps you escalate. It generates a formal follow-up and a legal notice you can send today, plus a complaint drafted for India's Data Protection Board, ready to file once the Board's powers commence in May 2027. You can also raise it now with the company's published Grievance Officer, and — for unwanted calls and messages specifically — with your telecom operator on 1909, which is a live channel today. Pro subscribers get these documents auto-generated.
Government databases like UIDAI (Aadhaar) and income tax records are exempt from the DPDP Act and cannot be removed. However, private platforms that misuse your Aadhaar number or PAN details (like displaying it publicly in company filings) can be targeted for removal.
